Race time: 5:00 pm
Everyone wins an official Iron Hill Twilight Criterium medal just for participating in this friendly event as children peddle their two- and three-wheel bikes fast and furiously towards the finish line. See their broad smiles as they bask in the cheers of their families and friends.
How to Register: To participate, all a boy or girl needs are a bike, a helmet and the permission of their parent or guardian. To expedite the registration process, please print out and complete the Parent Release Form and the Registration Form from the links below. Leave the space for the rider's # blank on the Registration Form; a number will be assigned at the time of registration.
ALL CHILDREN MUST WEAR A HELMET!

Registration begins at 3:45 PM on W. Gay Street between Church and New Streets. Children must check in at least 30 minutes prior to the race.
West Chester Dental Arts Kids' Race Timeline:
3:45 PM Registration Opens
4:45 PM Registration Closes
5:00 PM Racing begins
3-4, 5-6, 7-8 or 9-10 years of age
Please note: Parents may not ride with their child older than 6 years of age.
No parent may ride with their child, however a parent may accompany children between 3 and 6 years of age on foot. Children in all other age groups must ride independently. Bean's Bicycles will be providing free bike safety checks for all girls and boys who take part in the West Chester Dental Arts Kids' Race.
After the Race
Once the young racers cross the Finish Line at Gay and High Streets, they will continue past High Street into the Wells Fargo Parking lot on the right in to the West Chester Dental Arts Kids' Zone, where parents can meet their children.
- Each participant in the West Chester Dental Arts Kids' Race will be awarded an official Iron Hill Twilight Criterium medal.
- All Event Party Rental and Briar Photography will be giving each participant a commemorative photo of his - or herself on stage proudly displaying their medal.
- After the photo, all racers can carbo-load with a free soft pretzel from the Philly Pretzel Factory.
Leave your bike in the Bike Coral
As the streets will be very crowded with spectators, families are encouraged to park bikes at the secured Bike Corral located in the Kids' Zone on Gay Street in the Wells Fargo Parking Lot (between Walnut and High Streets) for safekeeping.
Everyone is welcome at the expanded Kids' Zone
Several local businesses have banded together to create an expanded Kids' Zone where children of all ages are welcome.
- West Chester Dental Arts will be offereing free certificates for dental exams and x-rays, plus they'll be giving away balloons, patient care packages, coloring books, pens, kids' backpacks and children's tattooing. Additionally a drawing will be held with the grand prize of a $500 gift certificate for dental treatment.
- Moonbounce Adventure will set up a crazy array of bouncy play stations, even a special three-in-one combo for children five and under. For kids over five, there'll be a huge obstacle course and a five-in-one sports combo bounce area.
- The artisans of BirlGirl Designs will be on hand to give free highly detailed full-face paintings as well as cheek painting for those who believe that less is more.
- Fairman's Skate, Snow and Surf will have their team riders, demonstrate whooptydoos of all descriptions and loads of skating tricks in the adjacent skate park. Everyone is invited to bring their boards and helmets so they can ride with the experts and get some pointers.
- The B101 crew and Buzzbee will be on hand with games and prizes for all.
